well it's down to the B&O A8 ..for £26 ebay..I may as well Wink
the BOSE TRI-PORT for £25 ebay..again I like the price...if both of these aren't any good..I'll give them away on the "DMC CRAZY AFTERNOON GIVEAWAY"..and go and buy the Shure SE530PTH for £240 ebay..ouch Wink
A friend is about to buy the Sennheiser CX 95..so I 'll see what they are like soon...thanks again everyone Very Happy

Almost for got. for the bass side of things ive got a paradigm ps1000 sub woofer 250w.

Well I got the B&O A8 ..new for £34 inc p&p on ebay Very Happy
and I got the Bose Tri-Port new for £38 inc p&p ebay again. Very Happy
I'll share what I think when they turn up...but as I said before if I don't like them, then it is the Shure SE530 PTH all the way Cool

Well I'm very surprised at the B&O A8's (as I tried them before.)..really light..hardly know you have them on...not like the Bose Neutral ...yes if I got them in a shop...no I would not go for the B&O..but for £34 inc p&p on ebay (NEW)...I can not complain Very Happy ...they might not have great Bass..but neither does the Bose Shocked .....only the Shure could have the protental to blow me away...but for £250 I think I'll save my money Laughing
As for me needing noise cancelling..well I'll have too look like a DJ and wear my big Sennheisers PXC 450's Laughing ...but both the Bose and B&O work well on trains.

How can you know if it's a fake or not?...

EDIT: I will rephrase this. I am not implying that yours are. I am curious as I went looking as I am interested in ones and the fake market is a possibility in these things... though eBay was forced to pay £30m for it...

Fair point...I couldn't tell the difference if they where..but they sound very nice and professional..So if they are fake..then I'll be Shocked

Glad you like 'em DMC - I'd be very surprised if they were fake (unlike handbags, they are rather more difficult to knock-off in a shed somewhere in the Third World).

You did get a very good price on e-bay, but you can also get them on BA long-haul flights duty free for £79. E-Bay just requires common sense: if a £15k watch is offered "new" for a fiver, then one detects the whiff of a large rodent. Don't think the A8s fall into that category though...
