This is hilarious, but who knows if it's true(?). What follows is definitely true: I'm a lawyer and appeared in a case in Mississippi state court. Mid-way through my submissions, the Judge (having never had a Brit before him) interrupted me and asked: "Say, son, do you know the Queen?"
A: Well, er, I have had the privilege of meeting her (didn't mention that it was 1977, when she visited my primary school in Jubilee year...)
Q: Is she a nice lady?
A: Absolutely delightful your honour...
