oc question

quick question realy.

is it possible to ask vadim to only OC ur CPU only, instead of CPU+VGA, sinse ocing VGA i think will make the pc too loud, and dont realy want super loud pc.

i will be getting most likely e8400+gtx9800 and antartic cooling+aus p5e X38 intell boad.

was wondering if onyl CPU ocing possible and if so, what speeds they probaly get with that spec. i hear e8400 can go 4.00 and stable.

Tbh with the antartic they replace the standard cooler with a better/quieter one! So i reckon it will be quieter than stock anyhow Cool

My 8400 is running at 4.06 ghz with the premium watercooling (cpu/vga)
Go for it mate....you wont regret it!!

I probaly ask them to just do CPU, sinse usealy the VGA can get very loud when OCed i noticed with my mates pc.

Thats a nice speed on ur processor:) maybe get mine probaly on air upto 3.6 maybe then.. Wink

You could ask them overclock graphic card as well but keep the noise down that way you get the best of both worlds.

I would get the graphics overclocked as well. Vadim will rip off the stock fan and replace it with a much quieter one. It will be quieter overclocked than a standard card would be.

ok, as long as it quiet. what speed you recon you could get with maximus x38 boad+e8400 with antartic cooling in a ther armour case?

or is it pretty much random?
