Well they couldn't use the GTX version as that was part of the Swiftech custom kit.

I dont see why they couldnt use the same parts but I was looking at the Innovatek G-Flow when I made that comment.

it was a GTX CPU block that we thought to use, but unfortunatelly it was out of stock when they requested.

The review was a bit innacurate though :

'Unless you have a very wide case it may be impossible to position the tubing without causing kinks.'

- thats why you can buy an elbow adapter: http://www.vadim.co.uk/product12151/Rotary+elbow+adapter+G1-s_4-q_+thread

and the comment for the instaruction is a bit... pointless:
'The Vadim custom kit also lacks a comprehensive, unified manual for the entire kit'
with all due respect, i am not sure if anyone who would buy a complex kit like that does or needs to RTFM Smile
and even if they do, no custom kit would have a manual anyway as otherwise we will end up just writing manuals instead of doing whats more important.

As an idea... when I got the swiftech watercooling kit the manual was only the indiviadual manuals of the componets allplaced together as one instruction.. basicaly a small folder with all of the manuals of all the components would do.

yea well i guess your right.

Maybe CPC should have asked Vadim to choose their own setup to test, then maybe the results could be more attributed to Vadim instead of the poor choice of the hardware. But then I'm sure Vadim would have chosen a great setup!

I don't think CPC should have called it "Vadim Custom Kit" as you can buy the kit anywhere! And the kit wasn't Vadim's choice! It's making Vadim sound bad when they have nothing to do with it apart from supplying it!

Vadim guys you should be a tad annoyed!! Maybe a complaint to CPC is needed? Evil or Very Mad

Well they must have been thinking that elbow adapters decrease or restrict flow hence not mentioning?!? Confused

No, I guess that they didn't even remembered about that. Vadim usually uses larger cases for the watercooling kit so that we get better machines at the end but they [CPC] are looking at possible costumers with smaller ones. Having looked at the kit they thought "Hmmm, if I have a smaller machine I will be in trouble"... unbeknowm to them Vadim have a solution... and I guess it is a simple as that... most errors of judgment are.

I read over the review again, and its not that bad!! Its actually pretty good, the only problem as you guys spotted was the CPU block and the price which both of these can be fixed Mr. Green

the GTX CPU block is quite expensive actually, i'm sure it can be brought down a bit. As for the other kit surely it can be brought down.

Actually prices here are quite high, I want to get the MIPS 680i Mosfets but they are £33 each put on P&P and VAT on that and they are around £40 which seems a lot for a tiny bit of metal. But then again maybe MIPS doesn't give you guys a good deal??
