Are there any precautions that need to be taken when transporting a liquid cooled PC? When I mean transporting, I mean moving house, so that it turns up intact when it gets to the other side.
Pack the inside of your PC with bubble wrap, and... well... you are better off speaking to Vince or Andy, Adrian, etc etc, they will know what is the best thing to do.
Actually I don't have my new PC yet, which is why I'm trying to decide between water-cooled and air-cooled. If the water-cooled is too difficult to transport and ends up broken, I'd rather go for an air-cooled, then upgrade to water-cooled later on after I've moved. I'll probably go for the same case either way. Case will either be Lian-Li V1100 or V2000.
when u get your computer from vadim it will be very securley packaged inside the pc and outside. If you keep everything they used and put it back in then youll be fine.
Also there wont be much difference transproting an air or watercooled system really
Yes. I was going to say keep the packaging, but since Arkada's name was black, and he was talking about transporting a PC, I thought that he had made his own or had bought it somewhere else.
The packaging from Vadim should be more than enough.
Aslong as the delivery men don't shove it in the back of the truck as if it is made of 10inch steel.
Whichever you choose beware of transport. I had a Zalman CPU cooler getting lose and destroying a motherboard and other stuff... always be careful transporting a modern PC, they are way more fragile and prone to accidents than the old ones..
