Hi guys, this is my first post, like all of us in the world, we all want a vadim creation but most of us cant justify to the misses why spending so much on a system.... they'll never understand Sigh

anywho... my specs are :

Asus P5K-C mobo
e6300
Dangerden TDX 1/2"
blackice Xflow 120mm
xspc bay res
coolabotory pro thermal liquid / paste

its only the cpu im cooling and though the temps have gone down since my Actic freezer im finding the temps are a bit funny..

these temps are taken from speedfan/coretemp/TAT

the cpu temp averages around 25 C
but the core temps are ALWAYS ( literally, ALWAYS) 7c higher? im not sure if this is correct or its just me expecting too much?

oh and under load using TAT it goes upto 50c which im pretty sure cant be right if the idle is at 25 for WC isit?

oh and ive oc the cpu, its sitting nicely at 3ghz @ 1.375v

thanks for the help guys!

Welcome airwick!

the coretemp is supposed to be accurate. more accurate than Mobo BIOS or all the different motherboard monitoring utilities. As for 50C under load - that is a good temp, no need to worry about anything.
