Hello all, been very busy lately, and just had time to update and benchmark my test rig. I am 26 points away from the PCMark Vantage World Record with 15003 points, which I am confident that I will surpass next week. Hopefully obtaining the WR with the Vadim name tag will gain even more exposure for Vadim in the future.

Hay dmc, Futuremark's PCMark and 3DMark benchmarking software are measures almost totally different areas of your computer's computing power. 3DMark06 focuses on the performance of your GPU and CPU processing power, while the rest of the system have relatively little influence on the final score. My system scores on average 20200 in 3DM06, which is about average for 2 HD3870XT in crossfire.
On the other hand, PCMark access almost every aspect of your system. CPU, RAM(Speed/Capacity), GPU, BUS frequency, and most importantly, your Storage Media's Performance. 3DMark06 takes about 10 minute for a full run, while PCMark Vantage takes around 50 minute on a fast machine to complete. Therefore unless your system is very stable, it will not generate a score, which also prevents "suicide runs" where you increase all voltages(to silicon degrading level) to maintain stability, and hope for the best.

Snaga, know that a very well balanced system with high overclocks and premium components gets a score of around 8000. Smile

Thankyou so much eternal_fantasy for clearing that all up for me...Ahhhh my rig would not be too good at this as it's running WDRaptors and I assume your running on SSD's...
Plus everything I have is under safe and stable overclocking (and I think my ram is still at factory)
So thank you again and the very best off luck to you Sir..... Hurray!
