Top British retailer and high-spec PC builder, Vadim, has just introduced two new waterblocks to its Blastflow range today - the Siberian Rev2 VGA Block and the Tidal Skulltrail SB Block.
The new VGA block is made from CNC-milled copper with a 5mm acrylic cover, and it’s thin enough to ensure that your graphics card still only takes up a single slot.
Edit:
Els, no we havent finished the testing yet, but the innitial results are good, so now it is just a matter of time when we finish the tests and have stock to use in our systems too.
DMC: yeah, unfortunatelly the ATX design is like that
So here I buy a block meant to 'last', with only the plate needing replacement. Then you release a rev. 2 which is rather irresistible... kind of defeating the entire idea of not having to buy a new block
Very nice looking, are there any other significant differences with rev 1 other than the acrylic top?
lol, sorry - there were some changes made to the top part (where the barbs go) - its all copper now and is just 1mm thinner i think, but the plates are interchangeable anyway
