Hello all...I was wondering if anyone has owned or something similer,
The two earphones I was thinking of buying...for my Ipod Rolling Eyes are:-

Sennheiser CX 95 Style...about £65
http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/icm.nsf/root/500615
Or the:-
Shure se530 sound isolating Earphone...about...£230 with PTH
http://www.shure.co.uk/PersonalAudio/Products/Earphones/SEModels/uk_pa_se530_content

I have read reviews...But still would like to hear what you guys think.
One about the Sennheiser:-
http://www.trustedreviews.com/mp3/review/2008/03/05/Sennheiser-CX-95-Style-Canalphones/p1

And one about the Shure:-
http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/shure-se530-sound-isolating/4505-7877_7-32327764.html

Any info would be much appreciated Very Happy

I've got the B&O ones and they're brilliant! if you make a choice this week let me know what price you get and I'll check here in New York so can pick them up for you if cheaper - the US$ is still at approx 2 to the £. I'm here until Saturday.

I would first look at Shure (420 and 530) and then Sennheiser and Bose. B&O may even be good but bring nothing to the sound quality and are expensive for what they deliver IMHO.

It's horses for courses, methinks. Main thing with in-ear type (either Shure or Sennheiser) is that they fit properly. No good having great sound quality if they're a nuisance. Most come with different size ear-pieces but even then, can't be sure of fit until you buy 'em.

The B&Os aren't by any stretch the best for sound quality (bass is lacking) but I like them because they are adjustable and fit me well.

You'll aso want to consider whether you want/need noise cancelling. Very good on planes/trains etc but less good if perhaps you cycle with them. Comes at a cost too.

Decisions, decisions...
