Very Happy Great stuff!

Areca are to send the updated drivers to the outside world?

... and PCI-E 16x is good idea.. imagine a 790i chipset with 2x9800GX2 (with decent drivers working) and the third PCI-E16x slot with a RAID card... Ludicrous speed here we go Wink

Edit: Probably this was just in time... http://www.custompc.co.uk/news/602682/intel-shows-off-low-cost-4gb-ssd-chip.html

"I’m sure that with enough drives, we can achieve supersonic, lightspeed or even Ludicrous Speed"...

Hahahah. Great article (and amazing results), that really demonstrates the advantages of SSDs. Can you imagine the heat and noise generated by 16 Raptors?

I was going to put together 16 15krpm drives and see what I get, but somehow I think I'm going to be disappointed now I've seen Vadim's blazing speeds!
