Build quality:
Just great Richard you are a star....
Even though i chose the standard option, all cables are very neat and tidy and great airflow.
I chose the basic w/c package as my first foray and can say it looks a beauty...espec with the new Vadim copper block
The silverstone case is great and the akasa fans just hum nice n quietly....
Speed:
How does a 8400 running at 4.06 ghz grab you!!
Niggles:
Ok...just 2 actually...
1: My formula mb appears to be the non waterblock edition, when according to the configurator its should be the se version. (which is more expensive.)
I am awaiting Vadims reply to this query...Query sorted..all sorted
2: The 2 roof mounted fans are the standard silverstone ones whilst all the others, including an added front fan are Akasa amber series??
Again i am awaiting Vadims reply to this query...Query sorted..All sorted
Final thoughts:
Having heard about Vadim through custom pc and joining the community in October last year, i decided these guys are the nuts! (inc you forumers )
So i ordered my Vadim i waited.
Changes i implemented were carried out and i was kept updated regulary online
The day before shipment Richard spotted some problems but me being the patient type waited for him to rectify them....It took a few more days....
I was offered a free saturday delivery and an extreme overclock profile for my troubles....
Being a stickler for reliability i decided to decline the extreme overclock....
So here i am now downloading EVE before going to bloody work...not even being able to play it yet
Overall i would rate Vadim as.....
9.5 out of 10!
Ps: It would have been a perfect score but when i loaded up windows i had over 90 updates to install

Ive been saying this for a very long time, and think it's about time Vincent did something about it ( I know its time consuming so cost more to do ) But can he not give it as an optional extra when choosing your bits and pieces, say 10 quid ( i dont know the going rate ) to load up all the updates, reboot the machine if anything is wrong it will then show up and save recalls and phone calls
Vadim could use vLite and intergrate all the updates into the Windows Vista image, and burn it onto a DVD. it can incorporate tweaks and optimizations onto the DVD and even semi automate the install process. Very convenient.
congrats dangerdaz and thanks for the honest feedback!

cant agree with you more here, but we are a company that prioritises things and there are a few more things before we start doing that... but should happen really soon.
eternal_fantasy, we tried vlite a few years ago - it was buggy, so we gave up. manual integration always works best. probably we will do a monthly cd with updates or something, shouldnt be that difficlut, but again - first things first
