Unfortunately i am deducting a point from my overall rating as my graphics card was not overclocked. Evil or Very Mad

I have received instructions how to do this (but im a noobie when it comes to flashing graphics card bios Embarassed ) but as i paid for the service...i kinda expected it to be done and more importantly...tested for stability.... Rolling Eyes

So my new overall rating is 8.5......

I'm not verry techy myself m8, and it's little things like this that realy shouldn't slip through the final set up and testing of the machine.

I've yet to take the plunge and order, I know Vadim are about the best custom builders out there but when something you have paid for isn't done just makes you think. But then again they,re only human and at least tried to help rectify the problem many would have just passed you from one support help line to another in a never ending circle.

I still am going to pace my order with Vadim just need to make my final choice in spec then take the plunge.

Well Vadim gained half a point back because they are sending me a pre-burned disc with the overclock settings on...This eases my noob pains Embarassed

So the final score is a great 9 outa 10!

These guys do put their customers first..... Hurray!

Ok..here is an internal view of the beastie.... Razz

This is with the standard cabling and the premium (cpu/vga) watercooling.

There are a total of 9 fans...inc the 1 at the front you cannot see...
Its whisper quiet. Cool

(7 of the fans are akasa amber....the roof mounted are not,but they have also been replaced.)
Its also using the new copper vga block! Hurray!

just wondering, you got 9 fans you say and this a watercooled set-up..... does this mean air cooled set-up have more than 9 Shocked Shocked

or just means watercooled set-up is air set-up+watercooled ectras.??

i worried aircooled set-up may turn into a fan orgy of 15 fans sounding like heathrow...terminal 5..... Neutral

I can't remember exactly, but I have antarctic cooling, and I have about 8 or 9 fans.... they don't make any noticeable noise unless there is no other noise in the room, and will only spin up to full RPM if you are playing a game etc. Under normal usage the T-Balancer keeps them very quiet. Just remember to keep them dust free and you'll be fine.

Dangerdaz, are you shore thats a Vadim PC? I don't want to hurt your feelings doubt anyone else would say it, but the cabling looks terrible wires all over the place. The water pipes look like thick straws for drinking pop out of, it looks old and something from 2 years ago.
Sorry about the above but I always say it as I see it.
Mind you thats what it looks like and looks arent everything as you can see from EU and Wolfs pictures. Wink If it runs crysis, quiet, reliable, and you are getting the famous Vadim service who cares what it looks like Mr. Green

Vincent, do you look at this photo of one of your new computers of 2008, and say you are proud of it ( just by the looks ) Confused

If I looked at this in a Magazine ( thats if I didnt know how good Vadim are ) I wouldnt think about looking at the vadim site never mind buy one. I'm saying this in faith in Vadim as critisism sometiimes helps. If you want to delete this post feel free, no hard feelings at all Neutral
