The team from the Obelisk Productions is currently working on a brand new multiplayer mod for Crysis. It is called Eastern Eclipse and will bring you more fun to your multiplayer experience as the team is currently working on getting physics working in DirectX9 as well. In their first update they have prepared a demonstration video and also released some screenshots of their progress
The PC Play magazine has released an English version of an interview it did with Cevat Yerli, president of the German Studio Crytek, which is well known for developing Crysis. In the interview they discuss the success and failures of Crysis, but more importantly the state of the PC gaming industry.
Yerli was asked about the risk of going PC exclusive with a high-profile title, and replied with: “It is certainly. We are suffering currently from the huge piracy that is encompassing Crysis. We seem to lead the charts in piracy by a large margin, a chart leading that is not desirable. I believe that’s the core problem of PC Gaming, piracy. To the degree PC Gamers that pirate games inherently destroy the platform. Similar games on consoles sell factors of 4-5 more. It was a big lesson for us and I believe we wont have PC exclusives as we did with Crysis in future. We are going to support PC, but not exclusive anymore.”
So, future releases from Crytek are likely to see Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions as well. Good news for console gamers, but not good news for the PC industry.

Crysis Community Map Pack #1
10 Multiplayer maps have been chosen and have been added to this Map Pack. Some of these maps are really special. There is a remake of the famous Far Cry map mp_surf and it looks even better then the original map in Far Cry. Other maps are a fixed version of the Crytek map Training and some other cool maps which have been created since the release.

I tried my best tonight to get over the 200 kills mark (got 173)...but stivalmighty ..kept blowing up my tanks..he just played with VTOLs ....good pilot though ...but what he had going for him ..is some players ping are really high...sometimes they stutter alot ..making it hard to shoot them down
...so many peeps left the game coz of that...but still I kept with it
Hi dmc sorry haven't been on crysis multiplayer for a while as my machine is with vadim for an upgrade at the moment , also my treatment has been taking its toll recently . But my machine should bee back very soon , maybe this week !! As soon as my system is back with me i will be playing online again its driving me mad not having my Vadim
