My heli kept getting shot down as soon as I got out of the compound.
And then when it got hectic and when I was driving, I was getting lots of lag. I had all of the settings to low (the lowest) the reso was right down aswell.
I think I need a new pc
But, I still enjoy it
And for some reason, my singleplayer profile was lost, even though I saved it, so I had to start again, but atleast I have a bit more experience this time.
Oh, and Dmc, I found those grenades. I don't know how I missed them the first time, they were on the table, right next to the keyboard. And I didn't need them when I took down the outpost, just went invisible and threw a barrel at them .
Nearly back to where I was before it got deleted (still not sure where it went)

Don't worry I was usless when I first started....dying constantly...or just hiding from trouble......but very quickly you realize it's more about surprise then full frontal attack....unless of course your in a tank or Heli .....but as you said it's hard in the Heli ...when you were playing I was on the ground running around noticing that they had two Gause Tanks...in the right hands....deadly against Helis.... I got rid off them but too late for you sorry
But your'll not the only one with lag on that server...some times !MESA 24/7 gets really bad and every one "times out" and the server restarts....it must be running on some lame PC
Yes and hopefully catch you online tonight...but my Steam has not started properly for the last two days so fingers crossed....

Hmmm...Yep Crysis is the most demanding game I've ever played...but if your've got about say 13000/14000 3dmark points....that should be able to run it well...not at veryhigh but a little high and medium

mmm ...Your gonna have too run it a all LOW graphics settings..(1280 res or lower)....sorry dude ...it kinda look S*** at that quality ...farcry 1 looked better then crysis on low
well, if it is 1280x1024 with high detail res it is fine as the screen I am using at the moment is a 17'' LCD with that as the max res.
Oh well... at least I started building a new one... which might be a temporary measure but better that what I have currently.
Sorry I shell make what I said a bit clearer....take out the res bit...and you will be forced to run with the lowest game settings.....despite the res...evan 800x600 won't help....sorry EU ...but yes my old XPS got not much more (like 9000 and something 3DMark points).......and I had...just had to upgrade

Lol.. not doing a beast yet... No cash flow for that. What I am doing now is just to rationalise all parts I have and some more bits I just ordered from Vadim and:
- Assemble a PC with a P5N-T that I got second hand for just over £70, 2GB OCZ DDR2 6400 (old I know but cost me £30), a Q6600 for (just over £100). I have 3 120Gb SATA HDDs that have been stored and I will take them out. Got 2x single Blasflow RADs, an XSPC reservoir and a Swiftech pump and CPU cooler from Vadim... will mix it all up and put them in a Lian-Li PC 7 Plus that I have unused... and create my temporary new machine .... ah!! I have a 8800GTS 640Mb that I will remove from my current PC.
I will be left with most of my current PC with a few missing parts that I have promised to someone already... that will be striped and those parts I want to keep (Samsung F1 750Gb HDD comes to mind ) I will send to Vadim for my Vadim machine... but that... when I have some money to spare... which seems to be a tricky achievement
I will also be left with a modified (for watercooling) Lian-Li S80B That I need to decide if I want to keep or not...
Nice sounding rig dude...That Q6600 I heard is a very good overclocker...also a good price...should really help when running Crysis

The P5N-T is not the best overclocker but it will improve on what I have .
Not too worried about the speed now as what I want is a neat looking machine and a good watercooling system . That'll be my second so I want to improve on my first . When I get a Vadim this will be for my parents.
