I have to say that Samsung has some really nice LCD panels recently both TV and Monitor. The sound isn't too hot on the TVs but if you're really that bothered about sound you'd run it through a hi-fi anyway.
I'll stick with my trusty SyncMaster 226BW for now I think .. the jump to a higher native resolution would kill my frame rates with my current card.
